Carteck Georgian Horizontal side hinged door combines traditional looks with high performance.
The Carteck Georgian Horizontal garage door is made from 40mm thick interlocking insulated panels and an aluminium hollow section frame. All doors come in our standard white; but there is a choice of colours available from our Trend range. The trend colours are selected shades that have generally come to be considered as the most popular colours for garage doors. However, it is also possible to have any RAL colour – we can also colour match from samples.
To do this, doors are made and cut to size from white panels and then sprayed to the required colour. The inside of the door is finished in a practical grey white stucco texture, with a flush wipe clean surface.door
The doors are available in a choice of four surface finishes; four wood effect laminate finishes are also available. The frame has a three-sided weather strip for draught reduction – in addition to the circumferential weather strip around the door leaf. Profiles are mitre jointed for a spotless finish.
Our Carteck doors are strong, robust and secure. The door leaves are hung on a sturdy aluminium block frame and come with door stays, high quality stainless steel handles, and lock covers as standard. The inactive leaf is secured with flush bolts top and bottom whilst the active leaf has a double throw dead bolt and soft latch – if greater security is required the active leaf is available with three point locking. The locks provide heightened strength to combat attempts to force them apart.
