The arched shaped window of the Garador FGS 900 gives this high performance door a contemporary European style.
Garador FrontGuard doors are produced in a high-tech manufacturing facility in Germany. Steel front doors give the look and style of aluminium doors but at a more affordable price.
Construction and Insulation
Garador FGS 900 is a double steel skin leaf with a high density foam core. This makes the leaf extremely strong and also highly insulating. The window is triple glazed with sandblasting and clear stripes. The window surround is made from laser cut stainless steel. The door frame is aluminium with a thermal break to further improve insulation. The frame is available in either round style or rectangular. The thermal transmittance value of FGS 900 is U=1.5W/m2k.
Security
As standard Garador FGS 900 comes with 5 point security: soft latch lock, locking rod, shoot bolts, hook bolts and hinge pins. Most noteworthy here are the two optional security upgrades. Firstly, secure by Design: This security standard is owned by the Association of Chief Police Officers and is recognised within the UK. Secondly, RC 2: This security standard stands for Burglar Resistance Class and is recognised throughout Europe.
Side and Transom Elements
Bothe side and transom elements are available for Garador FGS 900. The glazing is available in either sandblasted or float clear. Side elements come with an integral thermal break.
Options & Upgrades for Garador FGS 900
As mentioned above there are options and upgrades for frame profile, security and side/transom elements. There are a range of standard colours to choose from which you can see on the right. There are also timber effect finishes which are very popular. As this door has a fixed bar handle as soon as the door closes it latches and without a key there is no way back in. If you choose to have an electric strike this can be configured so that with a gentle pus the door will open, handy if you are wanting to nip in and out of the house.
