The plain and uncluttered appearance of the Garador FGS 010 makes it suitable for not only front doors but side doors and garage entrance doors too.
Garador steel front doors are made in a state of the art manufacturing facility in Germany. They offer the same contemporary look with much or the performance of an aluminium front door but at a much lower price.
Construction and Insulation
The door leaf is a double steel skin with a high density foam core. This makes the leaf not only excellent for insulation but very strong too. The door frame is made from aluminium and has a thermal break to further improve insulation. The simplicity of design if the Garador FGS 010 gives it some of the best insulation values in the range. This door has a thermal transmittance of U=1.2W/m2k.
Security
As standard with Garador FGS 010 you’ll have 5 point security. This includes: soft locking latch, locking rod, shoot bolts, hook bolts and hinge pins. This combined with a structurally strong leaf makes for a door that is difficult to break in to. Should you require further security there are two upgrades available. Secure by Design (SBD) upgrade – SBD is owned by the Association of Chief Police Officers and is a recognised standard within the UK. RC 2 upgrade – RC 2 stands for Burglar Resistance Class 2 and is the recognised standard throughout Europe.
Side and Transom Elements
Aluminium framed side and transom elements are available for Garador FGS 010. They come with a built in thermal break and rubber seals where they join the door frame. There is also a range of glass types to choose from.
Options and Upgrades for Garador FGS 010
There are a range of colours to choose for your new door as well as timber effect finishes and the popular contemporary Titan Metallic finish. One option you may want to consider if you’re not having a side light would be a spyhole. This allows you to see who is on the other side of the door without them seeing you.
