The Carteck Solid Horizontal garage door leaves are hung on a sturdy aluminium block frame. The inactive leaf is secured with flush bolts top and bottom whilst the active leaf has a double throw dead bolt and soft latch. It comes with attractive and tough door stays, high quality stainless steel handles, lock covers and a triple point locking option – if greater security is required, whilst the dead bolt and latch combination provides dependable security.
The garage door is kept securely in the open position by our top grade spring dampened stays. With the use of a simple de-latch motion; the held door leaf is released. Alternative designs can often be accommodated if you are in need of a specific hardware requirement. The doors are made from the 40mm thick insulated panels, and are strong, robust and secure.
Our Carteck Solid Horizontal doors come as standard in white, and have a basic range of colours. Matching RAL colours is also possible, as well as being able to colour match if you provide us with a sample. The inside of the door is a flush wipe clean surface, whilst the outside is available in a choice of four surface finishes; four wood effect laminate finishes are also available.
As an optional extra, a stepped aluminium threshold, which includes a thermal break reducing heat transfer, with a bulb weather strip for improved protection against the weather is available. The door leaves close against the raised weather strip creating an improved barrier to dust and debris.
